I'm very excited to have our bathroom looking spiffy. I talked a little bit about it on our Creative Juices blog. I have all pink and orange, (with a little blue and yellow thrown in for good measure) I'll just let the pictures do the talking! Enjoy! As always, you can click on the pictures to view a larger image.

Sunshine Makes me Happy
We have seen the sun for 4 whole days now! I think that is a record! It is starting to get warm! Spring is here! Plants are coming up, we're seeing a few flowers! We have been enjoying sitting out on our front porch l (Sorry, I think Jess and I are successfully making the midwesterners quite jealous!) This last weekend we had a Russian youth group here.

Repainting: Before Pics
Ok, well I wanted to wait to show these to you until I had a before and after, but I will share the before anyways since some of you asked to see them. We ran out of white paint, so we got stuck! I think we are painting all of these things white. Maybe later we will paint them another color, but white is the safest choice for now.

And I really think it would be fun to do a collage of pretty scrapbook paper inside, behind the doors, kinda like this:
This is Pam's closet

We are also painting some red plastic milk crates white to give them a nice new appearance. So I will share the after (the best part) as soon as we finish!
Amy and I found this at Hope Gospel Mission

After dilliberating I decided to paint it all white after all. (That was Jenny's idea) I know, Amy will think I'm ridiculous because I was so excited to find that it was copper underneath. But it was about 5 bucks, and I want a quick fix! And I'm not even positive that it was copper.
This was another cheap thing, it's going to be all white, and then we might turn it into a lamp for my art space.

This was a dresser I found at a Salvation Army here
I really like the shape and detailing

This Hutch Sam found

I've Been Sewing
So I made a few aprons. I used some plain old aprons I had from culinary school.
For this one for Amy: I used an old hankie, old buttons, some white rick rack, and some Laurie Smith fabric from Hancock.

3 new finds!
We went to Snohomish a couple weeks ago to do some antiquing. Look what I found:

Here are some old stamps I found. I love the look of these, and they're functional! They're from an old bank. Some say overdue bill, stuff like that-love them!
Ok, this find was from another day at Value Village. I have a trio of these that are 3 different sizes.
Here is some faux bois ("fake wood") It's a green ceramic planter. I love it!
Until I can afford my Le Creuset Dutch oven, I can smile when I see this one. (It's not Le Creuset of Course) only $10
And Sam found the best steal/find- I'll share later! We have a lot of painting to do!
