A Cozy Winter Day

This was the perfect sick day.  I sat, knit, and listened to my favorite crafters on Craftsanity. Am I living in a cave?  How did I not here of this before?  I guess I had heard of it but didn't really know what it was.  Jennifer interviews all these inspiring crafty ladies on Craftsanity, definitely check out the podcasts.  I listened to Amy Karol of Angry Chicken, Alicia Paulson of Posie Gets Cozy.  I also found the brilliant lady  behind my favorite fabric.  (That reminds me, I haven't shared the project I did back home in MN using this fabric.  It's an apron and I love it.)    Well, I think I have found my kindred spirit in fabric design.  We are so blessed to be living in a time of such rockin fabric designers.  Free Spirit has the best fabric designers.  When I found Heather Bailey, I thought she was a genius and was so in love.  Don't get me wrong, I still love her, but Anna Maria Horner has won my heart.  She has such a fresh perspective, but somehow throws in that bohemian hippie vibe.  I totally dig it and need to make my first quilt using her fabric.

I must be living under a rock, too! I'm still a crafting novice, but I'm sure this will come in handy when in need of inspiration!

Glad you snuck in a little relaxing day!
